As a home care company owner, I am involved with many seasoned adults. Most of our clients are between the ages of 80 and 95. There physical and mental conditions vary widely, some are very ill and have difficulty with just about every aspect of life while other are as sharp as a tack and are very active. Although each of our clients our very different the one thing they have income is some level of loneliness. They feel isolated from their families and long to spend more time with them. Seniors have a wealth information that to often never get to shared with family members especially grand children. I urge those of you who's parents are growing old to interact with your parents as often as possible and involve the grand children as much as possible. Forget Ancestry.Com the information about your families lie with our grand parents and great grand parents, learn as much as you can before they are gone.

I could not agree with this post more. I have to fight with my kids to go and see their grand parents but I am sure they will be thanking me when they get older.

I have tried for years to get my daughter to spend time with my Dad she flat out refuses. My Dad loves her and it hurts his feelings that she wont call or go see him. After reading this i decided that i am not going to buyer her the car i promised her until she has visited my dad at least 1-time a week for 3 straight months. My Dad is great guy and she is a selfish child that needs to start thinking about somone other than herself

This company does a phenomenal job with caring for my mother. I have had other companies previously and had nothing but disappointment. Caregivers at Home Care of Myrtle Beach are on time and very respectful to my mother. The care is a 10 plus. The owners are always available. I have called them on the weekends and they answer their phone immediately. They are always willing to adjust the schedule to work with my personal schedule and make sure my mother gets to her doctors appointments. I highly recommend them.
